Give For Good Louisville is an online giving day hosted by the Community Foundation of Louisville and created to support the nonprofits doing great work in our community. Previously known as Give Local Louisville, Give For Good Louisville is our community’s biggest day of local giving! When we come together with gifts big and small, we can change the world around us. That’s what Give For Good Louisville is all about.

Join us September 14, 2017 and make your online donation from 12:00 AM – 11:59 PM!

Interfaith Paths to Peace is so excited to be participating in Give for Good Louisville! We asked our board members why they support IPP and why they will fundraise with us on Thursday. Here’s what they said:

“At a time when fear, division, and violence grab the headlines, we need a committed, consistent voice for compassion and shared community. Interfaith Paths to Peace has been that voice for more than 20 years, and greater Louisville continues to benefit from its active, innovative involvement. I support IPP, and I hope you will, too, with both your giving and your ongoing efforts to help create peace here and now.”
— Rev. Elwood Sturtevant, Thomas Jefferson Unitarian Church

“I believe that all religions are essentially the same in their goal of developing a good human heart so that we may become better human beings and communities.”
— Geshe Rapgyal, Drepung Gomang Center for Engaging Compassion

“For over two decades IPP has been hosting events to bring Louisvillians together around religious peacemaking and social justice. We provide education on religious diversity and ways to help individuals and the community become more peaceful and more just.”
— Rita Butler, Louisville Baha’i Community

“Compassion is the tie that binds our community of different faith traditions and cultures. For 20 years, Interfaith Paths to Peace has set the standard for strengthening our community through compassion and the impact of its work is felt throughout our great city and beyond. That is why I commit myself, personally, professionally and financially to this great organization, and I hope others will join me in this endeavor.”
— Chris Wooton, Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary

“I say why not be a peacemaker in Louisville, Kentucky? Interfaith Paths to Peace is good for all people who want to see a better community, expand their minds, open their hearts, enjoy diversity.”
— Alice Wright Belknap, Catholic Charities of Louisville
